CTR & Retention Video Views Increase Blog Rankings? by Anthony Hayes

Check out Vid Attack Alpha here http://bit.ly/vidattack We did a lot of testing this week with something we stumbled upon accidentally, and that is, that high retention video views increase blog rankings but for best practices and faster results you need to do TWO things to make it happen. Your videos should be both on your blog post and YouTube (we used embedded YouTube videos) You need to get click through rates via google SERPS for best results. We used our own Vid Attack Alpha tool, which was custom made to improve click through rate to your blog posts and videos, while giving high retention video views and also reducing bounce rate and increasing pages visited on your site or blog. Lets take a look at the case studies, these are not for very competitive terms but this is done to learn fast so that we can ramp up views and click through rates on a higher scale with more competitive terms. The Video Ranks Higher Too With As Little As 25 High Retention Views Click Through rate IS a powerful Ranking factor Video views is a powerful ranking factor not just for the video but the url used in your video description Using one link in your video description to a blog post that also has that video embedded is probably a smart thing to do to be effective in this strategy Bounce rate is not as important a ranking factor as click through rate or high retention views (watch the video to learn why!) My colleague John Currie had the exact same happen when he increased video views, so its not a fluke. In fact John mentioned it to me first and then i checked my own blog rankings and confirmed that the blog post that was not ranking for this keyword, was suddenly on page 3 and later page 2.
